Biography of Sifu Shore
Mick is the UK Chief Instructor for the Jeet Kune Do Grappling association under Sifu Larry Hartsell an aclaimed original Bruce Lee student. Mick is also qualified to teach Boxing and Thai/JKD Kickboxing under Larry Hartsell. He is a master 5th degree in Filipino martial arts. An associate instructor in the Malay-Indonesian arts of Silat. Full Instructor in JKD Grappling, which includes Shoot-Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Russian Sombo and Catch Wrestling. A full instructor in Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do and JKD concepts.
He represents Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Lucio Lagarto Rodrigues. He has medals 2 Silver medals 2003 – London open and 2004 Gracie European invitational.
He is only one of two Sayoc Kali instructors in the UK (Sayoc Kali is a highly evolved knife defense system taught to navy seals, FBI and special forces.
Mick has competed at Kickboxing, Kung Fu, Judo, full contact Stick-fighting and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has made the British team twice and holds silver medals for Jiu Jitsu and Stick-fighting. As well as various other awards.
He coaches professional and amateur athletes in Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu and Stick-fighting and has had many students who have gone on to international success like himself.
Mick and his students have also appeared on TV and in magazines, he also has articles published in national publications on a regular basis.
Mick visits the U.S.A twice a year to train with the most up to date and best instructors in the world, as well as training regularly in the UK. He prides himself on not having sold out and maintains his integrity to teach real martial arts to the general public.
